He was well known in referring circles for only running after he blew his whistle thus giving the illusion of being really fit.

Harborough Rd south, he was my sports master for a year and his son Mark was in my class, at one time in the 60s he had a shop on Welford Rd that sold amongst others things subbuteo players as I remember going in to buy some!
