I’m still well into my new bands mainly at small venues which is great. I saw The Clause last night at Colours in Hoxton, a great little venue new to me.

The Clause are from Birmingham and are playing the o2 venue there before Christmas. They’re also supporting The Reytons on their tour later this year. They were decent enough and well worth the tenner entrance fee.

Both support bands were also good in their own way, Max Palmer and the Neckbreakers have an amazing bassist with a strong voice, they need to use her more if they’re going to go anywhere. Polar Playground were a good, happy band with a decent sound.

I’ve tickets to see Stanleys and Sheafs later this year too. Sheafs are excellent, one of my stand out bands from Tramlines if you get a chance to see them. Also Sports Team who hail from London and have a very good looking drummer.

Seeing the Reytons in Cov next month, they do seem to get some decent support act. A few years back Jordan Allen supported them and it was banging before the Reytons came on.

I want to see The Lottery Winners. I nearly bought tickets for Embrace just to see them, but they got canned by Embrace. Maybe because people thought they were better.

Anyway Lottery Winners are also supporting Reytons so it’ll be a great gig with three very good bands on the bill.

So much so that I’m now also going to Brighton the night before Camden.
