If you think back to that play off game v Watford, I remember thinking to myself anybody but Knocky to take it. I had the same feeling tonight when I saw Maddison lining it up. That miss could be so costly as Everton would have fell apart

Vardy doesn’t take many penalties.

Also Pickford had a note on his water bottle for each of our penalty takers. For Maddison it said STAY. He stayed and saved it.

Stuck RL on once back to car. They were saying that when Owynn P A asked Dean Smith he seemed surprised by the question saying Vardy had not scored at KP for a long time ( around 5 minutes wasn't it? ) so it seems Maddison is second dibs if Nacho isn't on the pitch. Time to re think that one Dean. Jamie take the penalties. End of.
