I always take a vacated seat just down a row or two from the exit.I detest the caants who leave their seats early, walk down the steps and then stop at the railings to watch a few more minutes before continuing down the steps into the concourse.
They don't seem to give a faack about blocking the view of the folk sitting near those railings who want to watch the game to the end.
And if you say "excuse me" they look at you like you're a twat.
I left my seat as soon as they put the time added board up and got myself comfortably leaning on the railings to watch the dying moments. 2 soggy custard creams hit me on the back of my neck and I got wet paint all over my elbows!I detest the caants who leave their seats early, walk down the steps and then stop at the railings to watch a few more minutes before continuing down the steps into the concourse.

Nice to bump in to you the other day.I left my seat as soon as they put the time added board up and got myself comfortably leaning on the railings to watch the dying moments. 2 soggy custard creams hit me on the back of my neck and I got wet paint all over my elbows!
Likewise Mac!Nice to bump in to you the other day.
By the final whistle less than half of our support remains to clap the players, who have given us everything... it proper boils my piss, I just do not get it!
You’re polite, we tell them to get out the fuckin way. Total arseholesI detest the caants who leave their seats early, walk down the steps and then stop at the railings to watch a few more minutes before continuing down the steps into the concourse.

Totally agree, really pisses me off. Unless you’re gonna miss a train or something, what is the point of leaving early?By the final whistle less than half of our support remains to clap the players, who have given us everything... it proper boils my piss, I just do not get it!
Surely thats all the more reason to watch every second of the game?I leave as soon as injury time board goes up find a seat next to exit, i have 30 mins too walk too station to catch last train too tiverton then have another 2 hrs too drive, Theres probably loads of people got similar reasons,

But I suspect probably not half-a-ground-full "loads" (disclosure: I leave home games early very, very rarely if I have something I have to get to, away games I am that "move to the exit" person). Mind you with people leaving early at least the atmosphere doesn't suffer! Personally, whilst I think the scale of the it looks shit & reflects badly on us as a collective, I have far less issue with it than just the sheer number of people (especially around me in the Kop) who seem to think that support is best & only offered by squeezing into whatever iteration of replica top they have whilst sitting on their hands for the whole game. Regardless of whether people are enjoying the football this season or finding it boring there is enough in each game to warrant more support than is currently being offered.I leave as soon as injury time board goes up find a seat next to exit, i have 30 mins too walk too station to catch last train too tiverton then have another 2 hrs too drive, Theres probably loads of people got similar reasons,
Point of bucking orderAs Cornfox has a 650+ mile round trip I think he’s entitled to choose how long he watches the game. Out of any of our fans I know, his dedication is right up there at the top.
Since the train strikes started last year it’s become a right pain getting to matches for many of us. Eg. On Saturday it was either leave on 90 mins and get home at 8.45 or watch 5 more mins of tippy tappy and get home
Time to get a quick pint in before the train back to London.By the final whistle less than half of our support remains to clap the players, who have given us everything... it proper boils my piss, I just do not get it!
I can understand people who live a long way away need to get away on time but those only live in Blaby eg and clog up the roads it's pretty easy just to wait for it to clear and have relaxing journey home surely.?As Cornfox has a 650+ mile round trip I think he’s entitled to choose how long he watches the game. Fulham away was the second time time in 40 years I've left early, previously the other one was the 0-5 at home to Villa. Like yourself I went at 5-1 and was that pissed off with the players and club I didn't care what I missed.Last time I left early, we were 2-1 up against Spurs. By the time I’d got around to the club shop we were… you know the rest.
Away, I left Fulham at 5-1 down and missed 2 goals. Couldn’t give a shit. Sooner have a nice walk by the Thames that day.
Train was on time as far as Bristol unfortunately someone got knocked over by train and we were stopped at Yatton for 2hrs so instead of getting home at 11.30 ish i got home at 2.15 in the morning.Point of bucking order
We weren't on strike last Saturday. The extended journey time was due to engineering works
