Permanent manager role

Questionable what Shakey (knows the club) & Terry (will get the defenders sorted) have contributed too.
since Terry joined as defensive coach (or whatever) we've let in 15 goals in 6 games, 2.5 per game.
in the 6 games before he joined we let in 10 goals at 1.66 per game.
Well done JT!

On the flip side, who could possibly have turned the defensive situation around?!

anybody with a footballing brain knew the problem was what was going on in front of the back four.
they've done absolutely nothing to fix it in 6 games.

You can see why Villa and Norwich got rid, other than Iversen and Soyuncu, hes changed exactly bugger all. In fact hes played Soumare over Mendy, clueless

Mark Robin's I think could do a job or Carrick
It wasn’t even him that brought in Iversen - Rodgers had already done that. And yes - his preference for Soumare/Ndidi over Mendy is reason enough not to give him the gig full-time. He may be a likeable person and even a good man manager, but in all other areas he is inept.

Let’s just get the season done, pay him what we owe him and send him on his way. I have no idea who we should appoint, but surely we can find somebody better than Smith?

In times past when when couples had affairs etc they used to register in hotels as Mr & Mrs Smith! Do you think that our Mr Smith is an alias for a Mr Roger's, Brendan's brother?

The club need to move for Mark Robbins if 'Boro knock them out of playoffs midweek. The amount of shit he has lapped up at Coventry, where he has turned a sow's ear into a silk purse makes him an ideal candidate for us.
Carrick also an option. Glover seems to be targeting yoof, particularly the villa loanees which 'Boro has borrowed.

Maybe a good bet is one of the Champioship managers who misses out in the play offs. Robins, Carrick?
Although you have to do due diligence look what happened to Soton and Jones.
Ironic really, Southampton are down, so like lemmings we have some of their set up, and now guess what? we also are doomed.

Why would they come to us?

Similar size stadiums
We can offer them a training ground upgrade
But half a squad, the other half in final year of contract, and no money.

Not sure I'd jump ship for that.

How about Benitez?
He would have been my preferred choice at the time and ahead of Smith but it wasn't to be. At least he's managed in the Championship before, and he got Newcastle promoted.

Oh well! It's fakking depressing even thinking about it all this.

cov haven’t got a pot to piss in, also on a five year contract to play at their ground

I know we're all bitter right now but even in the championship we must be an attractive proposition for an upcoming ambitious manager I would say it would probably be in the top dozen jobs in the country

Today's Mail is on the ball - we want Graham Potter but Championship football, is a distinct possibility. They'll be telling us bears probably shit in the woods next ...

Given that 'possibility' they say we admire Russell Martin and Jon Dahl Tomasson

We would be the perfect job for Potter. Done brilliant at Brighton, can't blame him for taking the poisoned chalice at Chelsea & when that didn't work out he did the right thing & had, still having, a bit of a holiday. He's learnt quite a bit this season has Potter & will be a better man for it.
A total rebuild of a medium size club, us, would suit all parties perfectly.

Would he drop to the Championship?
