When Shearer turned down the move to Man U, he had already won the League; exactly the same with Vardy, when he turned down Arsenal. If we hadn't won the League in 2016, I don't think Vardy would have spent the rest of his career with us.
Kane must lack intelligence or insight - the ENIC set-up at Spurs is not designed to compete for league titles, and their one Champions League run was a bit of a freak. He should have left for the Etihad when he had the chance.
