At the moment it feels like we could play for another season and still not get to 40 points!

A perfect example of a team capable of beating the opposition ten times over, but lacking the game plan, discipline and mentality that a good manager instills.

I would attribute this failing to everything else that followed. Win that game and Champions League was guaranteed

We need a minimum of 4 pts and probably 6 against those 3, no chance.

A team with nothing to play 4 & there best players missing dicked us & should have had plenty more, so we don’t need to be geniuses to know what Liverpool & Newcastle are going to do against a team with no fight or character.

100%. Their best defender, midfielder and striker out. They are completely on the beach. But we made them look like Barça. Willian who is 35 in August literally walked round our midfield and defence.

Absolutely, it's mind boggling how poor they approached this game, especially after starting so badly in the previous game.
Surely to god when you get something so wrong, the minimum requirement is to address the issues and look for an instant improvement in the next match.
They failed miserably.
 
I've no idea why Soumare and Tielemens came out for the second half and we brought Tete on to win a must win game, thats Tete who's the only Brazilian who can't play football.
 
After just pulling one back to make it 1-4 to take off tielemans & replace him with ndidi was peak Rodgers.
Don’t forget all these folk have coaching badges so know far more than mere mortals.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Surely if they’ve been in the professional game all their working lives as players, then coaches and then managers, if they’ve done all their badges, if they have all the technical data about our players fitness/energy levels and have the scouting reports on the opposition, they must know more than me and the vast majority in that away end today.

But then we see Mendy isn’t even on the bench. We see that Praet clearly isn’t at it or doesn’t know where he’s meant to be playing after 10 minutes. We see time after time Soumare getting caught in possession. We see Maddison taking too many touches and slowing movement forward. We see that their midfield are busy and energetic whilst ours plods along.

We all see this - how come managers on millions a year can’t.
 
And you know that tomorrow one of the snivelling failures will be wheeled out in an email to tell us we have to stick together. We’ll they can stick it their collective arses!
