Tbh my view is unpopular in these parts.
A generation never passed on a version they liked down. Always seem to be a problem with it now.
Plus I can’t take it serious that people really think that the recorded Louis Armstrong version can be sung by a football crowd.

It’s not the Louis Armstrong version that’s needed or even Frank Sinatras or even Max fucking Bygraves….its the Leicester version.

Well that how we used to sing it mate.
Started slow then built the speed. For the jazz hands.
Unique.
Never in my 55 years have I heard it sang spontaneously by the fans as a dirge.
