Former Newcastle goalkeeper Shay Given on Sky Sports: "I feel for Brendan. Last two years he has not been backed by the owners and that is not Brendan's problem. He got the rug pulled from under his feet, He is a top manager and will get another top job. Shows the stakes are getting higher and higher."
words fail me!

Actually it's a sentiment echoed by many non LCFC fans.
I read some comments on the BBC sports page and there were things such as ' did very well at a club that size ' and ' wasn't backed by the board' or ' not allowed to replace players '
Easy when you look in from a distance away but no top manager would accept that level of sheer rubbish. They prove their worth by attaining a level above the players abilities. That's what's supposed to set them apart from the bog standard manager.

It just shows how ill informed generally the punditry is, brendan was seeding the media from the off this season to deflect from the havoc his decisions are now causing, I lay the blame squarely at his door, decisions he's made have ultimately brought us to where we currently are and yet his own ego wouldn't allow him to acknowledge it, I'm glad it's over let's hope we stay up then bring in someone in summer to sort out the shambles he's reduced us to.

Prepare for this absolute deluge of shiite we’re about to get soaked in from the media/pundit cesspool.
Although to be fair, it won’t be far off what we got from the pro-Rodgers brigade on the roof up until a couple of months back

These are the same pundits who write about our matches wearing sunglasses who can't see the wood for the trees

If you had the odd reporter/ presenter with the tiniest bit about them they’d say to the given’s of this world, say Leicester had sacked Rodgers 12 months ago. People like you would have said crazy decision, Brendan’s this & that, who do they think they could get who would do a better job blah blah blah.
Well he wasn’t sacked 12 months ago & look at the shit show we are

It all fits in with the BR PR machine. As I’ve said on many occasions he has every attribute of a top top narcissist. He’ll have ensured that the ‘mutual consent’ was written into his exit plan. Can’t have sacked on your CV.
For those of us who actually watch our matches, we know he was taking us down.
Just like the Don in 2017 when we all took total grief from non Leicester fans in that how dare we sack him. Sadly we were nailed on to go down until he’d gone.
I think he’s been trying to get the sack since that first match with Brentford. I think even he can’t quite believe Top hasn’t sacked him. I really hope it’s true he’s left with no money. I truly despise him.
Finally I’d love him to go to Spuds. Perfect match. See what a real bastard CEO is to work with compared to our lot. If he does I suspect he’ll come in for Madders but I reckon he’d turn him down. He knows too much about the fraud.

Completely agree LG

Proof in the pudding, see where he goes next and how he does there???, or could he become the next tv pundit ??

Robbie Savage bigging him up on 5 Live because he stayed loyal to Leicester when he could have moves to a bigger club
If only he'd have done that perhaps we wouldn't be in this mess.
Which club Robbie? He stitched up a nice new contract when Arsenal were supposedly interested.
