Totally agree with that - they did some great stuffYou dont have to be a Teddy Boy to say they were/are a great band.
I think 3 of the cars were Romeo Challenger's. He used to collect them. He brought a Rolls and a Drop Head E Type from LolIs that an Allegro on the right?
Why didnt they? Was at skool with Romeo ..never mind drumming lighting fast winger Man United wanted to sign him
2-2,Trophy shared. Blockley played as well!Romeo played in the school boys final against Swansea schools at Filbert Street, I think it was 1964 or 65. Shilton was also in goal.
A decent crowd as well if I remember right.

Pat CowdellAlways remember when Gary Newbon was doing a boxing ringside corner 'interview' for the telly. Can't remember who the boxer was now but he gargled, spat out, missed the bucket and hit Newbon full in the face with it. Hilarious!
David Needham played as well I think ??He did indeed. My first ever match. It was 1965. My grandad said 3 players would make it. Romeo, Shilton and the CB who was Jeff Blockley.
The Warley Whippet!Pat Cowdell
I was at that game too: As I recall Romeos pen portrait in the single sheet program said "Romeo Challenger - A very colourful character"Romeo played in the school boys final against Swansea schools at Filbert Street, I think it was 1964 or 65. Shilton was also in goal.
