So you think it’s the height then. Do you mean overall height or ground clearance?

3ft ground clearance would be a bit excessive.

I drive a Ford Ecosport, it’s basically a Fiesta on steroids. It is higher than some cars but the road space it takes up is quite small, it isn’t four wheel drive and the ground clearance is normal.
I like it because the distance between the seat and the top of door allow me to get in and out without flashing my knickers.
Does this count as an SUV?
