Swearing at a 15 year old ref

This is the reason why Klippety should be hit with a massive fine. And the loveable Scallies should be told that if he does it again there will be a points deduction.

I couldn’t agree with you more. None of this one match ban nonsense. He gets away with loads as he’s a BCC. I despise that smarmy laugh he does. Pathetic. Another one o really liked and admired when he came to the PL but had turned into another dick.

Can anyone explain,as I'm obviously missing something, as to why many managers, in all divisions, rant and rage at the 4th official? As far as I'm aware he has about the same effect on a game as a ball boy, possibly less. Hate to see it. Totally agree a points deduction would be a good deterrent.

I think that was why 4th officials were introduced

when i coached and reffed my kids games over here every team had to supply two refs one player 14 or older and one adult.
we reffed in teams of 3 (obviously) and if there was a kid in the middle one of the lino's would be an adult to step in if they got a volley of abuse from parents.
each team had a parent who was responsible for their teams sideline behaviour and the ref could talk to them during the game to get them to calm parents down. parents were ejected from the field if they swore at officials and the team was warned if it happened again, they'd be kicked out of the league.
i once went to ref a game where the previous ref was hiding in a toilet as a parent had threatened to shoot him and the cops arrived the same time i did.

My eldest (13) runs the line for my youngest (11) and luckily has not had anything too bad, but still get the occasional comment. I'm not looking forward to next couple of years when the kids get older and more competitive and the parents follow.

These are young people learning, of course they'll make mistakes. Just like the players, who even at top level make mistakes every game.

Imagine how that parent would react if every time their little grealish made a mistake all the other parents started making comments or abusing them....
