Pretty much agree with most of this. Anyone still pedalling the "play your best 11 every game" need look at how we buckled the last two seasons to see why that's not a good idea.

Not re Barnes though- would rather the players learned their trade in natural position. Schlupp was supposed to be a striker and different managers tried him in different positions so he didn't really work out in any of them.

Good point re youth though. Why its essential to get the likes of taveres to sign a new contract

I'm not in trouble, he deliberately insulted me for no reason and he got the response he deserved that's all. It certainly is no a misunderstanding, just read the thread. As l said, l can do without it, if I'm insulted, I'll respond until the day l die. To be honest it was a decent thread, then you get Clutchbag and Oadlad diving in with uncalled for insults.

By the way I read that also, but when something kicks off you only see the few seconds after the initial blow mostly, you don't see that it was a reaction to something.

Thats why l challenge you to show me anywhere that I've instigated the shit ?
 
back to Tarkowski, the Burnley fan l know watch the England game with me and he said its definitely the talk amongst their fans. Whats more he rates him as a player who should definitely play for England.
