MIND THE GAP !!!!

Also, one of those clubs didn't have a ground that was fit for purpose for the Premier league. Burnley's ground is hardly top of the class either.

Luton are out their depth.
Sheff United will battle but I am not convinced they have enough quality.
Burnley might, just might surprise a few.

I would love to see Everton go down but it almost seems feted that they won't
Yeah, Everton are awful but will probably get away with it again. Forest and Wolves would also normally be struggling. A long way to go yet though, if anyone of them can get out of it it's likely to be Burnley.

Spudz needed 11 minutes of extra time to beat Sheffield today. They are so close to getting points it must hurt.

A good post to remind the rose-tinted lot that, for all the upcoming mutual wank-fests about playing our way to the title in style, it'll count for fuck-all against even-average PL teams if we do indeed go straight back up.
It's easy to forget just how huge the gap is, and it's getting wider with every transfer window.

It’s now that we need to be planning for that eventuality and be ready to pounce quickly on our transfer targets with clinical precision having identified them early.
Surely we’ve got the man in post to effect this plan?

Rudkin? You may think that; I couldn't possibly comment...

Luton are doing a blackpool.
got promoted, not pissing away the PL money on 3rd rate has-beens, and are happy to drop down next season with a full bank account that will keep them solvent for a decade or more.
More power to them i say.
