Even when I saw him at Charlton well before I had ever heard of Leicester there was a roar of expectancy in the crowd as soon as Len was on the ball.
And that same thing happened as soon as he joined Leicester.

I have to admit there used to be a penny blue sheet of paper for a programme and had 15 names on the sheet as some players were still on military service at the time and those that I remember may not have played
