The football view of Buck

GTIF

Roofer
Sat beside a couple of Derby academy coaches on the flight home last night and both of them had worked with Buck at Reading
They said those who have worked with him see him as an excellent coach really top class but too nice to be a manager
They said his niceness allows players to take advantage of him and they tend to do that
Apparently what you see on TV interviews is real he's soft spoken considered and mannerly
Their cbo was we won't go down and that Buck is the right manager for a successful club but feel the players zre being alloweď walk all over him

pair of twats then Gerry.

He’s a coward when it comes to management

Plays the safe hand every time and is happy just to not get stuffed by what he sees as the big clubs .

I wish he would just faack off as he’s going to take us down and we’ve gone so far backwards under his watch that it’s virtually impossible to be anything other than relegation fodder again.

That's the problem with your analysis, Gerry. We have seen with our own eyes the poor treatment of the likes of Caglar, Mendy and Praet. Can't reconcile this with "too nice". If anyone has been walked over it is Top and Susan by Rodgers. Because of the cost of sacking him. Thank goodness that is reducing over time, but not much use if we get relegated first.

We have to get something next week or we really are in a mess. Where is the fight ? No much sign of it yesterday.

Also will Tete now get the same treatment as Cags after his bottled tackle attempt lead to the Gunners goal?
Tetê isn’t a centre half who is expected to put their foot in whatever. He also didn’t lie on the floor exaggerating the pain as he watched them break and then score.

What a load of waffle.
He’s slagged off his own players in public for ( in his opinion) not being good enough multiple times this season along with telling the media the club have no money.

He wasn’t wrong though was he?

Have you recovered now? You went missing for a couple of games.😏

Point of buckin order
Read the post again it is NOT my buckin analysis

He's a football man. A student of the game. A decent coach for some but whose song needs new listeners because accustomed ears get bored of hearing the same notes & eventually appears to confuse those under his charge who he is not averse to criticising.

Still, he's had a little more success than his first spell in charge 1987-1991.

Get real Gerry. Did you tell them they were talking bollocks ? You quoted what they said as if it was gospel. That's good enough for me, sorry.
I didn't and i didn't because they weren't and I wasn't
There's a clue in ťhe thread title

Surely "A football view of Buck" rather than "The..." would have been more appropriate or are you suggesting that everybody within football shares the same view?
