Through different eyes (ok specs needed etc)

It was a pretty poor game all round yesterday. We pretty much let them have it.
We needed to get stuck into them properly & rough them up.
We not try something different with 10 mins to go, Tete was poor, shove Ricardo on one wing, Barnes on the other, stick Souttar up front and get some crosses in.
Wouldn't have hurt to try it we were loosing anyway
you've got to try, by not trying you're robbing the fans.

One thing we was talking about during the game was, when they had a corner and the goalkeeper was on the half way line. If Nacho had ran towards the halfway line as soon as the corner was too, taking no notice of where the ball was going into our box. No one would have gone with him, and if the ball was won by us he would just have the goalkeeper to beat while he was out of his box.

No imagination, Claudio and O'Neill had plenty, this clown is a blagger who just struggles by all the time.

I didnt expect a win yesterday but its about time we had a fair crack from a referee. every time an arse player came near one of ours they were down on the floor screaming. We had 5 mins added in a game where there were 8 subs and both Martinelli and Jorginho spent 5 mins screaming in agony on the pitch. Remember the Newcastle game? 9 stoppages for possible head injuries in the second half.....Its blatant cheating and the refs are too biased toward the BCC to stop it. If your ticket costs you £30 and you lose 9 mins to blatant and cynical timewasting that £3 per game or£76per home season STOLEN from you by prima donna millionaires. Id love to see jorginho and martinelli against Ellis Genge----It would be short and sweet

Aye, well, as much as Pawson was really weak in dealing with it I can't help reflect that had we given it a go and not provided the oppo 'keeper & defence with the easiest afternoon they've probably ever had then it might have been us taking our time. As it was we could have played for another 90 minutes and we still wouldn't have scored.

I also can't for the life of me understand why we don't leave at least 1 man, ( prob Barnes as he does nowt at defending corners and is quick ) up on the half way line. This means the opposition have to pull at least 2 back. Arsenal had 2 free men on the edge of our box at every corner. They used them at least twice, surely after the first time we shud wise up and sort it ?

Elite coaches think they know better than to leave a player up front when defending a corner
