Tribute to Micky?

The eternal pessimist
Just a thought. I know Micky was well known to people at the Club and believe one or more of his models is displayed there. Could someone on here with contacts there ask if his passing could be ecognised in some way?

Any chance we could gather there and raise a glass to The Hoss YRC? Would be a very fitting place for a piss up - it's what he would have wanted.
I'll bell him, I'm sure it'll be ok. Let me know when you are thinking before l ring him.

And a drink in honour of The Hoss in the Secret Pub in London before the QPR game next Saturday?
Remember that a load of other City fans are planning on using the 'now-not-so-secret London pub on Saturday too. Doesnt stop us raising a glass though.

A good opportunity for those who would wish to donate to a collection to pass on some dosh then too 👍

Don't forget others who might want to pay their respects but cannot get to matches.

.......... me for one. Although whenever arrangements are made for Mickys resting place I shall be there

More than that now. He’s opened one near Liverpool Street towards Petticoat Lane.

Edited to add I didn’t know about them @bnet till you mentioned it a while back.
whats the one at Liverpool Street called, as I'm around that area a bit, plus my family (before my time) ran pubs in Whitechapel and Aldgate.

Those of us overseas will also want to participate in some small way, even if it’s just to know the time that you’ll be raising a glass, so that we can do so at the same time. Might sound daft but, at times like these, connections are important.

Any idea which ones?

I’ve a mate who runs the Brown Bear on Leman Street. A Watford fan who I know from supporting England.

The ones l know of are long gone, my g.g.grandad owned the Prince of Prussia on Middlesex street (Petticoat Lane) just up from The Star at Liverpool Street. The only one that l know that is still open is on Upper street Islington which as had may names, recently Wolfies l think. I forget the others names, one on Durry lane and one on Southampton street. My cousin as all the details and photos actually. I only know Rob to say hello too actually, Cliftonroad (L) introduced me to him a few years ago.

Back the original post, before we went off track.

Just spoke to my mate who as the 3rd floor about getting up there. He said his uncle owns the building and he will talk to him hopefully sort it.
He'd like to know when ?

I'll take him in Nigel's on Saturday and you can work on him !!!
