Two points from Leeds and Everton

I can't abide this collection of players much longer. That is a very poor return against 2 atrocious sides.

A point against as side leaking goals for fun and then outsmarted by a team whose only creative player was Alex '£40m, are you taking the piss' Iwobi and a defence with Michael Keane in it.

I pray to whichever make believe god there is we stay up, but Iverson apart I don't want to see very many of this lot at the club next season.

Take into account the special programme of degradation that has happened at this multi-million pound operation.
It takes time and and serious effort along with a potent toxicity to leave a squad like this in the hands of it’s custodians.

It appears you are blaming the players, when I’m sure some of them are as aghast at the situation as you, and others switched off a long time ago

I'm blaming everyone in an irrational rant on the website, because I'm that bloody knarked off.

The situation is dire.

Our 1-1 against Leeds is sandwiched in between four defeats and seventeen goals against them.

Everton came from a crushing 1-4 reverse against Newcastle and were there for the taking.

To top it off, we could have easily lost both games as well.

We are where we are on merit, and last night we squandered a match point. If we go down we deserve it.

Many years ago, Bobbie Robson said 'the best way to get Second Division football is to fill your side with second division players'.
And that is where we are. Thomas, Daka, Soumareplus some others are, for differing reasons, not premier level standard.
But overall what has disappointed me this season was being second to most balls, being bullied out of most individual tussles and generally
being collectively brittle mentally.
Its roots are in BR's belief that technical ability is enough to persevere, a coach's mentality. We constantly fail in games which demand a scrapping approach (last two games). It's not in the DNA of most of our players.
Pretty looking play has too often been dealt with by more physical men with less finesse. Also the spine of the team has been allowed to disipate, Schmikes, Evans, Teilamans and Vardy have been approaching their best buy date for some time.
Result? A spineless (literally) soft centred side which lacks resiliance and identity.
The incomfortabe truth is that BR recognised this but the board decided to wing it until next season being dazzled by BR's record.
So he's off the hook? No way, he reacted like a mardy kid, failing to provide a different type of leadership to respond to the situation.
And the players reflect that leadership vacuum, ending where we are now.
I hope we survive because the problems are better solved with Prem income than the alterrnative.

There are way too many of these scenarios throughout our season. Southampton beating us on the 4th of March & guess how many they’ve won since? Chelsea beating us on the 11th of March & guess how many they have won since?
The most shots everton have had in a game for 3 & a half years, so on & so on.
