I think Southampton are down so it's two from four to avoid Armageddon.

Not very long ago I said I'd take needing a result against West Ham to stay up but we'd all prefer to avoid that heart-attack inducing scenario. If it does come to that they should have easily secured their safety by then and hopefully they'll have the major distraction of a Micheal Mouse European Cup Final to look forward to.

A very obvious positive (as has been pointed out elsewhere) is our far 'superior' goal difference. Come the end of the season (unless we seriously implode in more than one game and the rest start scoring for fun) it's got to be worth an extra point and that could be crucial when the overweight diva has finally sung her last.

All the wishing ill on our rivals is entirely natural but it's axiomatic(again much repeated hereabouts) that we need to win matches ourselves(no shit Sherlock!). Monday night's game is MASSIVE!!

On paper (but the game is played on grass Brian), comparing the respective run-ins, I still think we'll survive (it's not just the happy pills talking), ending up in the dizzy heights of 16th place. You heard it here first.

Do your own sums. What are the considered buckin opinions of the cognoscenti (who they? Ed.) on here?

COME ON YOU CITY SLICKERS!!!!

Its hard to see Southampton and Everton getting more than 2 points each out of that run in. Leeds will get 3 or 4 points, us and the scum will get enough to stay up, we are both capable of getting unexpected points where as the other 3 don't.

I think a win at Fulham will be the defining game.

If Leeds and F*%^^ lose at the weekend and we win I feel the momentum will carry us through from then on. I reckon if we can get to 34 points with our GD it’ll be enough

Fulham have had a decent season but they're a mid-table outfit. Their home record is: won 7, drawn 4, lost 5, scored 23, conceded 22.

We can get a win there.

Will you please stop with the fucking optimism!!!!

We're fucked, gone, shot it, buggered, relegated - just accept it

Saints, F****t and Dirty Leeds(who sack their manager) all lose. We miss out on a precious 3 points but the draw takes us out of the bottom three to the dizzy heights of 16th.

For the next round we need Saints to do us a favour and show that they're not totally down and out. Hopefully BHA will maintain their form from their thrashing of Wolves and surely Man City will score plenty. We need a midfield to turn up against Fulham(who are minus three key players) and if they do we ought to have a decent chance of coming away with at least a point.

Get your incontinence pad orders in for the West Ham game y'all!

COME ON YOU CITY SLICKERS!!!!
