A mate down here claims Vardy has more or less agreed to a 12 month + contract that will be announced, he’s an ex pro and says Vardy hasn’t had any firm offers from other clubs yet, still early days yet though…

On the basis we may well be relegated this coming season, I’d be happy to give him a two year contract.

One year + with options on both sides to discuss an extension or to get out of the agreement sounds clever to me, and the right option.

I’m frankly amazed if that’s the offer.
 
Problem is we give Vardy a extra year we are stunting Cannons progress. Because we are probably going to get another striker and then that means Cannon will be third or fourth choice depending on what happens with Daka.

Chap I know used to play for Swansea, Exeter & Arsenal youth , they recently had a 40 year reunion for winning a cup, they were interested in him but couldn’t afford his wages and that’s when he heard the rumour, about a month ago…
