You can’t win ‘em all

Can we??? That's the thing
This afternoon we were bashing our heads on a brick wall tactically nieve a new approach was needed after HT but we didn't get one
our only decent play was for Vardys goal otherwise we lacked tactical change

Are you suggesting that there’s no plan b in place 🤔

You can't criticise the all conquering Enzo you know.
He'll fuck off,. and there's people on here that will ridicule you for having the temerity to challenge anything

You're right.
We should realise that – unlike the 3 or 4 smug cunts who were busy over the past few days telling anyone who dares to question the ‘big idea’ – we simply don’t understand the manager’s brilliance, and that we simply don’t understand what the players are doing, and that we simply don’t appreciate just how world-beating we are.
We’re just not clever enough to comment on what we’ve been watching.
We really should do like they’ve done, and wise-up by watching some youtube link or podcast that they assure us will be wonderfully explanatory for thickos like us.

When a team comes to our place especially and packs the midfield and defence, we struggle. We have for years.

When that team inevitably scores a goal, or two like yesterday, we’re screwed.

That’s what Hull did too and we’re also very good at it.

Leeds played a bit more open down here so we do have a chance next week.

There isn’t a lot to understand.

The manager has taken a cohort of rather mediocre players and got them top of the league by some margin.

If in August we have the same squad in place, we’ll start the 25/26 season back where we are now.
The majority of the squad playing now will be playing next season because of our financial situation.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but it seems like some people can't wait for us to lose so they can say they are right to question his style of play and tactics. The style of play and tactics that have got us top of the league by some margin. Yeah, it doesn't always work, sometimes he gets it wrong, but he's not going to suddenly change now. Liverpool and Man City haven't won 100% of their games, should they change their style and tactics?

I'm not sure there are many more than the two regular constant moaners on here that take any pleasure from us losing. Most people spend too much time effort and money to desire defeat. But I sense that last season's complacency amongst probably a majority of city fans until it was too late, added to the (for me, dreaded and loathed) Burnley comparisons, provoke a real fear and dislike of premature hero worship of a 'big idea' that seems flawed / questionable / too ideological for a club of our resources.
I for one will always be hugely grateful that we have dodged the consecutive relegation nightmare that could have come to pass. I'd hope that even those in charge will treat the 24-25 PL money as something to be respected, rather than it being taken for granted as it clearly had become until last April.
Just my opinion, of course.

Question why do we keep crossing the ball when we do not have the players capable to head a ball, and why do we play a central striker on the left wing ? If you want to play two up front then tell JJ and Ricky to play as wing backs and go 3 at the back. why do we complicate a simple game ? The modern game sucks
