"A very, very powerful hit"

"According to data from the official match ball, the shot on Monday reached 110.79km/h (69mph) – a speed that beats the most powerful strike of the 2022-23 Premier League campaign, by West Ham’s Saïd Benrahma, that clocked in at 107.2km/h (66.6mph)."

A stronger shot than all the effete men in last year's Premiership. It's a man's game eh? Nice one Chloe! 👍

Facts ain't gonna cut it on here, you should know that by now.

Hey 1970's men, you're entitled to your own opinions, not your own facts.

Just to clarify are they saying it travelled faster than any goal bound shot or just a penalty. With a lot of different techniques it may be feasible I suppose if your talking penalties only, otherwise its total bollocks and anybody thinking otherwise is completely off their trolley .
Ps it was a marvellous penalty, I'm not disputing that

Oh come on it was the hardest kicked football ever, since records began. And the brainwashed fools lap it up without a thought in their empty heads.

It is being compared to the average speed of the Benrahma goal which was measured as the fastest strike from OUTSIDE the penalty area ie a minimum of another two thirds the distance. The fastest shot (not goal) in last years Premier League was 85.8 mph by KDB against Bournemouth. I would hazard a guess that there were a fair few goals lashed in from inside the 6 yard box that travelled at an average speed way exceeding that figure but which were impossible to measure

I reckon the reason she was able to kick it the hardest ever was because she did that ’oh grasshopper’ one legged martial arts shit move just before she booted it the hardest that anyone has kicked a football in their fucking lives..

It was in the Guardian nuff said

More lefty nonsense from the Daily Hate I presume? How does that fit with "Newspapers fuck about with the truth to suit their politics"?

A similar report is to be found online on Newsweek, SoccerBible, Reddit, The Athletic and more. Do they all share the same pro-wimmin agenda? I think we should be told.

Do you think Chloe’s wonderful penalty strike could not be beaten for speed by any of the “effete men” in the Prem taking a penalty?

It all comes from the same source though, it’s total crap just apply a little common sense to it.

I think they all follow the same fashion can someone publish a list of the top 100 shots from last year please

Of course not. I wish Maddison had taken the penalty against Everton like she did though. We’d almost certainly have not been relegated if so.
