I’m not anti female sport at all. It’s good that the nation has got behind all of this and it’s good that there is progress.
That is just complete and utter bollox though let’s be real.
It’s actually patronising to women’s sport really most of the way it is covered by media.
It’s like when you watch the cricket and they drop a Dolly catch and the commentators say ‘great effort’.. it doesn’t help at all.
They’re separate entities. Some will enjoy one and not the other, some will enjoy both.
There’s no need to make up fairy tales to suit a narrative being pushed. Millions of people are enjoying it. Some aren’t, that doesn’t matter there’s other channels they can watch.
Australia women lost 7-0 to an under 15 boys team back in 2016. That actually happened. So what? But we’re meant to believe in the entire premier league season nobody struck a ball harder than someone at the women’s World Cup. It’s basically denying genetic advantages exist.
