If we all take a a deep hard look at things...

Aren't those 4 looking at being moved on? According to unconfirmed rumours anyway. To be replaced by players who can play how he wants them to. I know it's a different division but I don't see why we have to play like the teams in this division.
Well out of those 4, inheacho can play the way our manager wants, so that wouldn’t make sense.

Precisely. As it stands it's acceptable but if we go through a bad patch people will soon become frustrated with it.
Well it stands to reason, seeing as you’re grumpy when we’re winning.

Waiting for the “told you so” moment. Somewhat negative but you’re welcome to your view.

It's almost like these people see it as some sort of badge of honour to be the first "well, I told you he was a shit manager" Joyless.
You two are talking even more crap than usual, are you suggesting that the three results so far have been entertaining? Of course we need to give the guy a chance to finish building his team but the fact remains that it is boring to watch, only the top players can play this sort of football consistently and make it really successful. While we’re doing OK everyone will be happy but building from the back needs a full team of ball players to make it work.
And like it or not people want entertainment for their money, winning is entertaining but tippy tappy and losing isn’t

It's a lot more entertaining that Rodegrsball because it's not difficult to see why we are dong it, I'm reasobanly happy watching it as I know that after a few tippy tappy passes it'll be moved quicckly thru Winks/Ricardo to KDH or a winger, even Vestergard made a great forward pass that took out about 3 of their players. Now we've got Butch I expect to see us step up another level, bring in another winger and another step up, Coady returns from injury and ......

Burnley won the division playing a very similar style last season. And Fulham the season before that. And Norwich the season before that….

As I said whilst it works the fans will be happy, professIona sport is about entertainment. Fans go to watch their team and want them to win, if they don’t win the fans want them to look like they’re trying to win and farting about with the ball and losing games doesn’t look good. Long live success but Man City we ain’t………yet

Don’t you come on here with these positive patterned facts from previous seasons. Objectivity is a banned word on here.

What some seem to miss on here IMO is big nose managed a total masterclass in bringing a club down to its knees inside 18 months whilst individually ensuring very good players suddenly looked like they’d struggle in a village Sunday league side.
Enzo has started from literally 10ft down

And has already scaled much of the pit of doom.

It’s a massive warning to other similar sized clubs that it can all go very wrong very quickly.

Rodgers was a classic case of trying to get players to do things they couldn’t and destroying confidence. Good managers make the best of what they’ve got and improve what can be improved.

I am not a violent person, however, if I saw BR in the street I swear I would hit the little dwarf.
My anger towards him is immense and what angers me more is when non LCFC fans say we were wrong to get rid of him.
Yes... Enzo is starting from 10 feet down.
Looking forward to watching and supporting his project.

Make sure you put it on you tube (or summat)

I’m not sure what you want in terms of entertainment, but we’ve managed to get the results we’ve needed so far.

It’s a work in progress, & no doubt once we have a run of 2 matches without a win, the doommongers will be out in force. Enzo doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy who thinks “You know what? This ain’t working - let’s play long passes to an out-of-form & ageing Vardy instead like the club used to”.

The other thing is that all pretty much all of these players will have been coached from a very young age to have the ball at their feet & to play from the back.

For us to have a manager that plays in that fashion…well good luck with that, we can always have a Neanderthal from the past.

Well if it's "the past" it must be wrong.

Build from the back is fine if it's quick and precise, anything else and it is frustrating to watch.

He certainly brought the team to its knees but unlike Twatlor not the club. Not to the same extent anyway. Whoever stopped him wasting more money on duds did a good thing.

the moving the ball around is like a boxer sparring until he sees an opening. you're trying to pull the opposition shape around to create space to exploit.
no point in hoofing the ball forward (trying to plant a haymaker) if you give it away (miss).
big boot football has pretty much disappeared from the champ in the last 5 years.

The way we have declined is almost as if it was planed, the squad we had should never have been anywhere near the relegation zone. The decisions he made were stupid not just incompetent.

I watched quite a lot of Fulham in their promotion season, and they bore very little similarity with enzo-snooze-ball thus far IMHO.
