If this was someone going ona football pitch they would get the book thrown at them. Probably a slap on the wrist here and a ban from cricket grounds not that they care.

I don't doubt it, but I still fail to see who gets anything out of these sort of protests. Just makes me want to rev up my car and go for an mindless drive. What sort of person wants to get a criminal record for 10 seconds of "fame" that puts most people even more against them and their "cause". If they want to make a difference go and live in a hipp commune and be self sufficient.
Sorry I just don't get it and I am not sure that I even want to.
 
They were rather fortunate in the recent rugby final at Twickenham. One of those forwards taking you out at full pelt could have meant months in hospital!

Brits are so funny. They love the idea of direct action, they say british protests like marches are too nice and they should take a leaf out of the French protest book, they hate the idea of the govt restricting protest, but when it disrupts something they like, they start moaning about it.
 
I wish. And I really mean this. Someone would really twat one of these Mongols as they are making an effort too fuck up everyone's entertainment. And knock them senseless. I think they are fair game.
 
The South Africans had toured England in 1965 winning the 3 test series 1-0 with 2 draws. Then came the Basil D’Oliveira affair in 1968 when his exclusion from the proposed England touring side after he had initially been selected led to the cancellation of the 1968/69 tour. A South Africa tour of England in 1970 was still scheduled to go ahead but mounting protests by the Anti-Apartheid Movement was gaining in strength. By the end of January 12 County grounds had been vandalised and barbed wire was being prepared for use at the coming summers Test Match venues. With the threat of violent protests now a real possibility the Labour Government under Harold Wilson finally cancelled the tour with a directive from Home Secretary Jim Callaghan to the English Cricket Board.
A hastily organised alternative tour by a Gary Sobers led Rest of the World XI against England then went ahead instead. Rest of the World won the series 4-1. Five South African players were included in the Rest of the World squad,Graheme and Peter Pollock(brothers),Barry Richards,Mike Procter and Eddie Barlow. In 1971 South Africa were banned from International Cricket for the next 23 years until the end of Apartheid in 1994.

Their argument is good, their right to protest is absolute but their right to prevent people going about their business is not and is counter productive. These pair of dick heads could have stayed in the ground and made their point all day but their protest lasted a matter of seconds and most peoples reaction was “wankers”

Someone is going to lose their temper and it will end up with someone getting hurt.

Ended up all over the papers and TV. Wouldn't have got that if they'd stayed in their seat all game.

Imagine if he would have just stood there and protested no one would have took any notice.
I reckon this is the game changer. Expect to see much more of this. Allow them to protest, as it’s their right and allow the counter protest. Cover them with as much shit as they have covered things with orange paint.

I'd love to have your level of self confidence...to think that everything i say and do is correct and normal and represents the majority....and everyone who doesn't agree with me is abnormal.
