I simply do not see things the way you do. I am reading quite a lot about this whilst I wait for a hospital procedure.
I read things very differently, mostly it is a series of impressions, the 'weight' of what I see and hear that makes me think the way that I do.

As I have said before, I find a lot of what I write about to be self evident. Some people see it the same as I do, some do not. That is fine, it doesn't bother me, I just float my views and let people make up their own minds, I am happy to be the outsider on this.

I feel a little sad when I think of the destruction that this will cause, the world is not going to be a nice place to live for a very long time. I consider myself to have been pretty lucky to have lived in the relative freedom of the last 50-60 years, I have resided in 5 different countries and visited half the word, something that the next generation will not be able to do.
 
That's just my take on things.

Try to put myself in the shoes of those who were sent off to war, either in the trenches, or in Burma. Or the survivors of the concentration camps. The two million German women and children, left at the mercy of the advancing Red Army in 1945.

Yet we moan about some shops and pubs being shut for a bit...

I wish that is all there is to it, I really do.

I genuinely think that we are being lined up for something very nasty.

However Mr T reckons it is down to the Acid, so that's probably ok then.

The losing side had genuinely held feelings of interference, but were met with a wall of "you lost, get over it".

Farage: reap / sow comes to mind.
 
Some Trump supporters now no longer trust Fox News. Because it isn't telling them what they want to hear, rather than lies.

They are now seeking out news outlets further to the right and turning up with heavy duty rifles at vote counting venues.

Trump really did tap into a bizarre element of American society and also created a real personality myth about himself.

It's like watching a tin pot nation, in some backwater failed state.

Whether you are simply visiting or actually moving to another country you will still be able to do so. The procedure might change, in fact I rather hope it does, but I really do not see an issue here.

I lived in Germany in the late 70s and Spain in the 00s and 10s, it was easier in Germany as the bureaucracy was more efficient, sounds like a joke, but true.

Correct, but FoM is not about visiting.

And moving will be a lot more difficult because you will be a 3rd country person...

I think this is the problem AFC - it's the mention of "self-evident" but without producing any evidence.

I'd say the majority on here are pretty open-minded, accepting & willing to hear differing & opposing views to their own. If there has been some malfeasance in the process as Trump continues to baselessly claim (so far), then the evidence has to be produced - this is something that would have to be looked into & if necessary corrected, regardless of each of our political beliefs & stances.

Lastly, you're absolutely right to feel sad at the destruction this will cause - I think quite a few of us think the same. However, this isn't the "start" of this destruction by any stretch - one man's been at the forefront of it for the last 4 years.

If you will be of benefit to the country you are moving to, there will not be an issue.

Exactly as it should be.

Should circumstances permit, we will be off to warmer climes by the end of next year. We do not need to work, will be self supporting in all respects and, given my age and health I will require some decent insurance. Fill in the paperwork, provide proof of income etc, that's it.

Its easy to see how postal voting is susceptible to fraud, not as easy to see why people would vote for a man who could not run a bath let alone a country. what you guys dont seem to get is how the media controls what we see and hear. Trumps record is fantastic, no wars, the best economy and highest employment ever. He does not even take a pay check but gives it to charity. The problem is he wants to rid America of corruption. The odds were always stacked against him.

For me, 'self evident' is just that. It is the whole weight of what happens that leads me to my conclusions, no single event really.

I think that people generally operate their own personal 'Overton Window' to formulate their views, that mine is rather more to the right than most on here is pretty obvious. Many of the opinions expressed here are well to the left of my 'window', so much so that they actually make no sense to me at all.

As far as Trump, I am with Running fox here, I think he has done astonishingly well for the US despite total and continuous opposition from all aspects of the 'deep state'. I see all the 'destruction' being caused by the opposition, not Trump.

Have a look at these graphs and you'll see that the economy and unemployment continued on roughly the same trajectory as they were under Obama. Trump hasn't radically changed anything.

No point.

There are plenty of examples out there, film of ballots being added to the count, ballots being altered by the checkers, ballots in fake names and the names of people long dead, people voting from out out of state and tons more.

You will not accept them because you would probably call them fake or unsubstantiated.

Maybe a proper investigation to substantiate or otherwise these claims is exactly what is needed...

I have no doubt now that Biden will win, whatever happens now, Trump is done and so is the USA. I remain totally sure that it has been 'fixed' but it no longer matters.

I remain mostly concerned for the effects of this on the UK. As you know, I am pretty pessimistic about the future.

There really is nothing left to counter the Reset, I think it is going to be a bastard.
