On the contrary, I accepted the result. The provocative banter stems from posters on both sides unwilling to see fault with their opinions.
Can't see that changing because certain characters on here are too entrenched.
And when I suggested no-one was happy I was shot down...In a sense there is a balance here. Leave won, but fairly narrowly, we now have a situation where we are half in, half out of the eu.
Neither leave nor remain can be happy with the outcome, so pretty much everyone is pissed off.
Life in the 21st century!
On the contrary, I accepted the result.
What that didn’t mean however, was simply accepting the outcome of all that because I’m not a Leave voter.
Surely all voters (Leave or Remain) should be holding the politicians that promised a fantastic deal for the country to account?
If it gets boiled down to a “We won, you lost, get over it” comment (as some politicians have been heard to say, never mind the general public), then unfortunately we’ve all been conned.
And remain voters are also constantly told that we should have no further say in the matter, because we didn’t vote Leave.Time will tell regarding the success or failure of leaving.
At the moment we are as you say in-between, but further down the line it will be up to us if we want to be closer or further away from the EU. The decision is in our hands. Future elections will probably be decided on what direction we are offered.
It's the constant whining that ' leave ' voters were conned and got it wrong by remain voters that provokes the 'get over it' comment.
When you add in the ' it's what you voted for ' comment constantly being trailed out, then is it any surprise that people react ?
Anyway have a free pop because I am off to do something better with my time, than keep going over something that we can all agree to disagree on.
And I will just say at least the conversation stayed civilised, better than the usual trading of insults.
Kudos for that
Sadly that is the way of 'direct' democracy. And remain voters are also constantly told that we should have no further say in the matter, because we didn’t vote Leave.
I’m sure you can see how daft that looks at the same time as feeling you’ve had a ‘pop at’.
Love this!So sad that folk actually think career politicians with headlines to grab know more about how to run schools / hospitals / businesses / security forces than teachers / doctors business owners and police officers .
Until that changes we are stuffed
No buddy. I just told you how I see it. I don't think anything will make you happy. And when I suggested no-one was happy I was shot down...
And what form will it take?Move on ? Nah . Rejoin starts on Friday .

Worthless postings on forums and Twitter perhaps.
